- Served eight years in U. S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps,
managing public works and family housing in Hawaii. Directed
SeaBee team in Adak, Alaska.
- Performed first residential inspection in 1978 and first
commercial inspection in 1981.
- Managed design and construction staff of Browning-Ferris
Industries for 12 years. Developed standards for design
and construction and oversaw the construction of hundreds
of waste-management-related facilities.
- Developed comprehensive design standards for the two largest
waste management firms in the world, Browning-Ferris Industries
and Waste Management Incorporated.
- Managed construction of two high-rise condominiums in
Houston and San Antonio. Both were revolutionary in concept
and design.
- Managed restoration of the Union Bank Building, Houston,
into the Hotel Icon. This hotel has become an architectural
centerpiece for Downtown Houston´s redevelopment and
a dining mecca for the entire region.
- Managed restoration of a 1950's era high-rise office building
and construction of adjacent 11-story parking garage.
